My name is Kelsey and I am the face behind The Board Loon. I was born & raised in Minnesota (hence the Loon, our state bird).
I started making boards in 2015 for fun. I have always loved entertaining and being creative and crafty, so after I made my first board I was instantly hooked. I was able to create a beautiful piece of artwork, reduce my anxiety and in turn, enjoy it with my friends and family.
The Board Loon was a hobby that quickly turned into a side business.
When I'm not making charcuterie boards or teaching workshops you can find me at my full time 9-5 day job in corporate sales.
In my free time I enjoy making recipe & crafts found off Pinterest, visits to vineyards and cheese shops, live music, travel & adventure.
I'm obsessed with Frank Sinatra and you can almost always find me listening to him and the Rat Pack whilst creating.
My husband and I currently reside in Somerset, WI.
The Board Loon is licensed, insured & operates out of a commercial kitchen in Roberts, WI.
